Conoco Phillips

Brand Stills Image Library.

This brand library shoot for ConocoPhillips was built around a simple but rich idea: all the things we use our cars for. From tailgate parties and road trips to camping weekends, bike trails, and everyday errands, the goal was to capture the full spectrum of life that happens behind the wheel, and the fun that happens once you get there.

The creative challenge was layered: shooting in the Texas summer heat while needing locations that would read as Colorado in the fall (complete with a campfire and cozy jackets!). Producing imagery versatile enough to feel at home across all of their markets, from California, Oregon, and Washington to Texas, the Midwest, and the South, all with a budget that kept us anchored to Austin. That meant carefully casting talent, selecting locations, and framing shots that felt specific enough to be authentic but universal enough to resonate across very different regional audiences.

Through smart location scouting and thoughtful art direction, we found the rolling terrain, wooded backdrops, and golden light needed to sell the illusion, and created a warm, adventure-ready collection of lifestyle imagery that puts people, motion, and the open road at the center. Perfectly aligned with a fuel brand that powers the journeys people actually care about.
