This shoot for PediaSure was a fast-moving, high-energy production — exactly the kind I thrive on. As a shadow shooter on a broadcast production, my job was to stay light on my feet, read the room, and capture compelling stills alongside the video crew without ever getting in their way. Between takes, during setups, and in those unscripted in-between moments — that's where the magic lives, and that's where I was always ready.

The story we were telling was a simple but warm one: a mom in the kitchen pouring a glass of Chocolate PediaSure for her son, and his genuine, unfiltered reaction to loving it. Getting that authentic kid-joy in a single frame (the kind that doesn't look posed or prompted) requires patience and a quick trigger finger. When it lands, it's everything.

From the kitchen we moved to his school, where we captured him competing and ultimately winning his event at the school’s Fun Fest. Pure pride and elation radiating off him in every frame. It's the kind of sequence that tells a complete story: a mom who cares, a kid who's nourished and thriving, and a win that feels well-earned. The product stills rounded out the shoot with clean, purposeful imagery designed to work hard across their website, digital, social and beyond.
